Below you will find various examples of my “styles” and their starting prices.
I have many styles and am happy to replicate the style of something you’ve seen in one of my galleries, regardless of if it’s listed here.
The starting price assumes that the piece will be a full body commission of a single character with a simple/abstract background.
I reserve the right to adjust the price based on the complexity of what is asked of me.
For example, the price of a comic will be higher, but the price of an icon will probably be lower.
“Sketchy” – $100
Often–but not always– has large areas of white and minimal shading. The lineart can look kinda rough. Simple backgrounds only.
“Solid” – $125
Clean lineart with solid, flat colors. No blending, no transparencies, no gradients. Minimal shading & highlights.
“Painted” – $175
Bold palettes with blended colors and splatter effects. Includes detailed shading and highlights.
Allows for much more complexity than the “sketchy” style.
“Fancy” – $200
The cleanest lineart. Meticulous cel shading and highlights. The most attention to detail. Complex backgrounds. The works!
This is the style I use most often for my Slightly Damned comic pages and wallpapers.
Add-Ons
Extra characters:
Add a second character = +$90
Add a third character = +$80
More than 3 characters = Let’s Talk
Depending on complexity, a vehicle may count as an additional character.
Backgrounds:
Simple/Abstract (shapes, patterns, gradients, textures, clouds) = Free!
Natural (a forest trail, a beach at sunset, mountains, etc.) = +$80
Manmade (room interiors, vehicles, buildings, cityscapes, etc.) = Let’s Talk
I can do comics, too, but because they are more complex, we’d have to talk about it.
Discounts
I may be willing to charge less for characters I deem to be simple or requests that include Slightly Damned comic characters.
Things like icons or Telegram stickers may also cost less than what is listed here.
This will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Patreon and Ko-Fi patrons of mine are able to get discounts just like in my online store!
$5/month patrons = 5% off the total commission price
$10/month patrons = 10% off the total commission price
I will need the email address of the account used in order to verify the pledge.
Being a patron does not guarantee a commission request will be accepted.
I don’t “open” for commissions often by announcing them on social media, but I encourage you to email me at chu@raizap.com if you have an idea you’d like me to draw.
I’m busy with my webcomic and vending at conventions, so there might be a long wait.
I will only send an invoice via PayPal when I feel I am ready to start drawing.
Refunds are not accepted once work begins.
These commissions are for personal use only, unless otherwise specified.
They may not be used on merchandise for resale, sold as NFTs, or used to train A.I. LLMs.
Most of my art is made with an all-ages audience in mind.
However, I do dabble in adult-oriented artwork, aka “Spicy Stuff“.
My rule of thumb is that if you’ve seen it in one of my galleries, then I’m probably okay with making it for you, too.
I don’t mind answering any questions you may have, but I reserve the right to decline any request.
