GameFAQs Those fancy video game strategy guides you buy in stores might be nice, but this site has it all- FOR FREE. Kotaku Not your typical gaming news site. Instead of focusing on more serious gaming news, they usually link to interesting videos, artwork, and stuff. It's unprofessional, but interesting. GameSpite.net My favorite site for editorials and reviews for video games, movies, TV shows and the like. I'm a regular on the Talking Time forum as well. Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! A weekly podcast by NPR that presents both big and trivial news in a humorous quiz format. Features a panel of regular writers and comedians, as well as call-ins and guest celebrities. Retronauts A funny and informative podcast that focuses on older video games. While the update schedule isn't always consistent, the quality is always great. deviantArt.com An art community where I upload all of my finished art, including Slightly Damned comics. SheezyArt.com See above. Tegaki E An art community where you have to draw everything, including comments and blog entries, using their simple flash system. Admittedly, I'm not very good at using it and often get impatient. OverClocked Remix A video game remix site with plenty of ear candy. Some Personal Favorites: Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine - Blobby Blob Disco; Donkey Kong Country - Chekan Winter; ICO - Save Me; MegaMan 3 - SnakeMan Get Down; Socket - Trip the Light Fantastic; Zelda 64 - Ocarina Boogie VG Mix Like OC Remix above, but smaller and not as picky about submissions. However, there are some real gems hiding in there if you snoop around.
